Our house looks like a million bucks! Our well-lit landscape will deter any possible intruders by eliminating any dark areas and shadows around the property. Plus I know it will add value to our home when we are ready to sell it.

Why Landscape Lighting?

Today’s homeowners see their landscapes as a source of pride, a refuge for relaxation, and a place to enjoy good times with family and friends. Heads Up Lawn Sprinklers can bring your yard to life after the sun goes down, providing a beautiful aesthetic effect while adding safety and usability.

Landscape lighting provides many important benefits:

SAFE PASSAGE: Hazards such as steps, low-hanging or thorny vegetation, abrupt changes in elevation, or debris in a walkway can all be avoided with properly placed landscape lighting. Guests can be safely guided away from hazards.

BEAUTIFICATION: Focal points stand out and become more beautiful. Textures not seen in daylight become eye-catching detail. Architectural features can be accented, which brings the building and the landscape together for a resort-like feel.

USABILITY: Landscape lighting enjoyably extends the time spent outdoors. Now patios, pools, and children’s play areas become entertainment venues or just relaxing places to unwind.

SECURITY: It’s a proven fact that a well-lit landscape will deter potential intruders by eliminating dark areas and shadows that would conceal movement around the property.

VALUE: Landscape lighting not only brings your property to life, but it also provides an excellent return on investment by creating a stunning first impression when viewed by visitors.

Q. When Should I Have My Lights Installed?

A. Last summer I met with a customer intent on learning the answer to this question. With new landscape going in, she was feeling pressured by her landscape company to make a decision about her lighting. They insisted that she needed to have all the wire ran in the trench with her irrigation lines before the sod went in. They reasoned that it would be more affordable for her to do do this now while the trenches were still open, and that they would have to charge her more to come back and install the lighting system later.

The truth is that you can have your lighting put in even after the rest of the landscape project is complete. There are very few obstacles that can keep a skilled technician from putting a light where they want it. You shouldn’t have to ever pay extra to have your lights installed after the rest of the landscaping project is finished.

Q. Is it going to be bright enough?

A. This is a question we really don’t get asked a whole lot. Most people are more concerned about their lights being too bright. But if brightness is what you’re after, we can certainly make that happen. One of the beautiful things about LED has allowed us to have greater control over the effects we are creating. Basically, it means we can dial the effects right into where we want them to be. We can go as bright or dim as necessary to create the right look.

So, to recap, we just want everyone to be educated about what they’re getting when the time comes to have their lighting system designed & installed.
